Dr. Rose K. Gantner and Well Works Publishing and Consulting, along with Dr. Milena T. Bajich, offers leadership training on how to recognize, build, and strengthen resilience, trust, and optimistic realism from a strength-based, strategic approach. We aid leaders and employees to improve morale, positivity, engagement, collaboration, and work performance. We help make organizations become more resilient while increasing their levels of empathy, creativity, and innovation.
The one-day onsite Leading with Resilience program is intended for mid-size and large companies. It targets supervisors, managers, directors, and executives who want to demonstrate consistently calm assertiveness, emotional agility, and cognitive flexibility under demanding, challenging times. The goals are to help these leaders increase their energy and purpose, and balance measurable operational metrics with interpersonal skills.
The most effective leaders are always investing in strengths — their own and others’. If an organization fails to focus on individuals’ strengths, the odds of an employee being engaged (enjoying work and giving their best discretionary efforts daily) is only 9%. But when organizational leadership focuses on identifying and playing to people’s strengths, it increases their self-confidence and desire to give their best, and the odds soar to 73% — almost 3 out of 4 (Tom Rath and Barry Conchie, 2008). Let’s apply a learning mindset and teach people how to SOAR — Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results.
By focusing on the core of resilience (purpose, perseverance, self-reliance, equanimity, and authenticity), each person can build and strengthen their resilience capacity and the capacity of their teams and the organization as a whole, for faster and better quality of results.
We offer valid and reliable resilience assessments to help measure one’s resilience, and offer coaching for improvement. Leaders can be strong in specific areas but the best teams are well rounded and top performing teams outperform average teams by 42% (Amy Edmonson, 2013). Leaders create the culture, and culture creates the results. Resilient teams work together to thrive both personally and professionally in their lives with meaning and offer a legacy for others to follow and continuously improve upon.
